Below are the Spring 2019 EPICS Course Offerings:

Mondays, 10:45 AM – 11:30 AM, Tooker House, Tempe

Hygienic Animal Shelter: Safe Haven for Animals is a non-profit no-kill cat shelter in Scottsdale that allows cats to live-out their lives in a safe environment until they are adopted.  Unfortunately, with many cats in a small space, the furniture and “cat-condos” end up in dirty quickly. This puts all of the cats at risk of transmitting disease easily between each other through the furniture. The nonprofit would like EPICS to design cleanup-friendly furniture that is easy to sanitize while still being comfortable for cats and encouraging physical activity

Mondays, 12:55 PM- 1:45 PM, Generator Labs, Tempe

Interactive ASU Libraries: ASU Library is undergoing a large renovation which has resulted in the closure of our largest library in the system, Hayden Library. However, after its completion they are aiming to be a dynamic student centered space on campus through many new initiatives. One such initiative is developing new spaces and unique furniture for things such as interactive and engaging book displays, including possible displays the Territorial cup and Star Wars action figures.
