Australia Solar Fuel
The Australia Solar Fuel team is addressing the problem of efficiently using a large, remote amount of land for sustainable development. We are currently trying to turn carbon dioxide in the atmosphere into a useable fuel. Currently, this project exists as a theoretical systems design for a base case of 10,000 acres of land. Our team has so far been successful in creating a reaction pathway for a reaction to take place. This semester we hope to prototype and test the efficiency of this pathway through the labs at ASU Biodesign and design a reactor pathway by which the reaction proceeds.
