Accessible Training Wall for service dogs and disabled children/adults

Meeting Time

Monday 3:05 PM

Project Description

This project with the support of service dog trainers and clients will create a wall to support service dog training in the homes of disabled children and adults. While many public buildings have accessible doors, bells, etc. the common household does not. A service dog training will be the training ground for each service dog as they are transferred to the client’s home that does not have accessible equipment for everyday tasks.

Help disabled children and adults access household entrances, complete everyday tasks like shopping, caring for themselves (laundry, hygiene, exercise), and engaging in outdoor/indoor activities. Improve ability to work outside the home with the help of a trained service dog.
