Our community partner, ASU facilities department, want to motorize their existing push carts. Our semester goal is to have a model or detailed sketch of what we are going to build and a budget for materials that need to be ordered so that next semester we can begin building a functioning prototype.
Facilities teams across ASU use a large cart to transport 200+ lbs of tools. The goal of the project is to develop an electrical assist system to help the facilities team to push the cart. The project consists of using an electric scooter style motor and battery system to assist moving the cart. The team needs help designing the motor system, battery system, and arduino/ motor controller
