Project Description
The Jirani Digital Library team is working on creating an offline digital library hardware device using a Raspberry Pi with a custom software on it for the Jirani Project in Kenya. This server would host an offline library server with books organized by categories for easy access. It’s also a log-in based application so administrators may funnel appropriate content for their users. Currently, we are attempting to add video capabilities to the device. In the future, we’d like to augment the search engine capabilities of the device.
