Project description
Through ASU Food Bank, we aim to create the option for surrounding grocery stores to deliver to us their perishing goods, as well as any surplus of non-perishables. This will allow students to pick up these items from a central “market”, as well as receive updates through an online portal. The intention behind this project is to reduce food waste from grocery stores and relieve any financial burdens that purchasing food can bring to ASU students. We hope to make this solution cost and labor efficient as it helps the ASU and Tempe communities.
