Project description
Our team is working with Teresa Hlava, cofounder of H.A.B.I.T.T. organization. We will help students in Title I schools to interact with service animals in a way to support their educational advances and help them engage in the classroom. The students in the classroom typically have low-confidence, and low-performance, so we will help them build up confidence and increase their performance while helping them “teach” the therapy dogs. Our prototype will help the students grow in their educational understanding while also growing in confidence and social skills.
