Project description

“The Robotics Kit for Learning in Ghana” is a project to help students in rural areas of Ghana learn more about STEM subjects through robotic kits. Our community partner, Douglas Ayitey, who is the CEO and Founder of MakersPlace, saw a need that rural students in Ghana are not showing interest in STEM subjects. One of the many reasons is that students do not have access to robotics kits to show how STEM can help them and others around them. Therefore, the project is to help Douglas Ayitey create simple yet effective robotic kits that will help spark the interest of students in rural areas to learn more about STEM.
