Project Description

Our project, “Dictated Note Printer in Braille for Blind with Cyber-Physical System,” is developing the concept of having Braille printers readily available and easy to operate for the blind. This project is in collaboration with ASU students and India SVES students via Zoom; the project seeks to create a compact, portable Braille printer that features cutting-edge technologies for easier use. The new printer’s design will be lighter and smaller, making movement from one place to another easy. We are also developing an easy-to-use software platform that blind individuals can access, to provide ease of operation and use. The software will have voice input technology for dictation, making it possible to take notes without having to hold anything and increasing efficiency.
