Project Description

“Lappadata” village located in the district of Sinjai Tengah, in the regency of Sinjai, South Sulawesi, is a cool area due to it’s high-altitude geographic location. The cool environment can lead to high humidity in cattle barns, and the area also experiences high rainfall, resulting in high-moisture content in livestock feed. This can pose challenges for farmers in managing livestock care and increases the risk of livestock diseases, particularly digestive problems like bloating and diarrhea. The aim is to assist the farming community in addressing these issues by creating an innovation called “The Corral Dryer”. The Corral Dryer is a device designed to control humidity in barns and feed using batteries charged by wind and solar panel power.
