Project Description
There is a lot of PET plastic waste that can be found in Indonesia that continues to pollute both waterways and the environment. We have been tasked by our Community Partners with recycling PET in a way that can be used for construction materials. Bengkulu experiences earthquakes frequently, so they need construction materials that are more cost effective and more flexible than traditional materials, and by testing composite materials made with plastic as well as different aggregates, we intend to solve this issue.
