Project Description
In rural Kenya at a secondary school called GUU, there is a severe lack of water.During the dry season, shallow wells that are full during wet season dry up. There are contaminated ponds that students walk to, using valuable learning time. Through EWB USA we are in the process of surveying the land to implement a borehole. The borehole will have a 30-foot water tank to supply naturally pressurized water to the school. With this, we will be able to supply water to hundreds of people in the area.
