Project Description
Generally during ‘Idul Adha’, the ritual to slaughter the cattle is undertaken in the mosque areas all over Indonesia. It is challenging to slaughter the cattle due to some issues, such as: the ethical of animal welfare, the meat quality, the safety of the slaughterer and the slaughter’s waste. So, this pilot project will be implemented in the local community in Makassar to provide the appropriate and practical alternative solution of ethical slaughter methods and waste handling for the environmental sustainability.
