Project Description:
Our current collection system makes it difficult for people to donate easily at our partner organizations. We would like to develop a secure, user-friendly donation bin for clothing and shoes that can be placed at partner sites, such as a church parking lot, or redesigned for our own donation drop-off area. The bin should be durable, visually appealing, accessible for both donors and staff, and can be locked to prevent theft. Potentially with creative features like built-in signage, donation receipts, or even a mobile platform to roll bins in and out without heavy equipment. We are open to different approaches, including physical prototypes or process/system design, that make donating more efficient, community-friendly, and sustainable.
