Project Description:
Pesisir Lestari focuses on building community-led social enterprises to sustain the conservation of Mangrove Ecosystems. To achieve this, they empower and strengthen the role of local communities in Mangrove protection, which includes rehabilitation (Mangrove Planting) and regular ecosystem health monitoring. Currently, around 30-50% of mangroves survive after planting. The goal of this project is to increase the survival rate of mangroves after plantation.
