Project Description:
Our community partner is currently struggling with the lack of a reliable bed-tracking system in homeless shelters. This creates discrepancies between the database and actual occupancy, causing individuals to be turned away unnecessarily. Furthermore, the manual check-in and check-out process is time-consuming and prone to human error. Our goal is to develop an automated system that accurately tracks bed availability in real-time, removing the burden of manual data entry from staff, and ensuring resources are fully utilized.
