Project Description: ASU West Valley Garden Project is working together to optimize the garden on theWest Valley Campus. We plan to develop a better irrigation system to save water. There also needs to be a monitoring system to give the plants nutrients when they need it and not on a set schedule. Both of these will require sufficient power to operate efficiently and effectively. The ASU West Valley Garden Project needs an off-grid power source to power the irrigation systems and monitoring systems. The garden currently does not have any power, and the garden needs an off-grid power source in order to power any functions. The Off-Grid Energy Team will create a prototype that will be able to give off-grid energy to the garden, which will give adequate power any garden functions, such as irrigation and monitoring systems.
