Project Description:

e-NABLE is a nonprofit that provides 3D-printed prosthetic hands using customizable CAD designs. Currently, these designs are adjusted using manual measurements of a user’s hand and arm, which can be time-consuming and error prone.  This project proposes using low-cost tools like iPhone LiDAR to scan a user’s limb and generate accurate 3D measurements, which can then be used to update existing CAD models. The goal is to create a faster, more reliable workflow for customizing and producing prosthetics.
