Meeting Time:
Wednesday 4:30-5:45pm
Project Description:
A project focusing on designing a temperature-controlled attachment for a drone-based delivery system. The attachment is intended to safely transport time-sensitive and temperature-sensitive items such as vaccines, medications, organs, food, and other critical payloads. Our team’s primary responsibility is developing the cargo enclosure, which will be capable of both heating and cooling its contents to maintain a desired internal temperature during transport. The design must also be lightweight and structurally capable of supporting the payload while minimizing its impact on the drone’s flight performance.
