Currently the problem our team is addressing is improper waste disposal, specifically light bulbs, soft plastics, batteries, and general e-waste. Our team is working on improving this waste system in general, but starting with Arizona State University issues. Currently at Arizona State, there are only two eco-trash receptacles in use. One in Memorial Union and the other in Nobel Library. Not only do these current eco-cans have terrible labeling, they are very difficult to use. The shapes/ holes to put in the waste in are hard for someone to figure out and generally confusing at first look.
